Barbeque Beef Recipe

This is a really delicious and extremely easy barbeque beef recipe. Because the slow cooker generates a lot of liquid from condensation, I like to drain off the excess liquid after 8 to 10 hours.

Then shred the meat, return it to the slow cooker and add some more barbeque sauce and cook for another hour or so. Put it some a toasted roll and you're good to go!

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pierce roast all over with a fork (Optional step)
  2. Season roast with salt and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle roast with garlic and onion powder.
  4. Place roast in the slow cooker.
  5. Pour 1 bottle of barbeque sauce over the roast.
  6. Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
  7. Remove meat from slow cooker.
  8. Drain off excess liquid from the slow cooker.
  9. Shred the meat with 2 forks and return to slow cooker.
  10. Pour the 2nd bottle of barbecue sauce over the meat (discretionary amount).
  11. Cook for 1 more hour.
  12. Enjoy!
